With the hotel turning 300 Years old this year, the hotel has a somewhat colourful history. Guests regularly ask for information regarding this so what better way to celebrate this milestone than to publish ‘The Story of The Castle Hotel’
Owners range from James Brydges- one of the wealthiest men in the land, Clive of India – who started the affiliation with Elephants in Bishops Castle and of course the current Proprietors Henry & Bex Hunter
