Hot Stone Massage

Stone therapy is an exceptionally relaxing treatment, rooted in ancient therapy practices and used to create balance within the body. Hot basalt stones are used, with the positioning and temperature of the stones tailored to the individual client. A stone therapy treatment provides a deep massage to the whole body as well as concentrated areas. Stone therapy is based upon geothermal therapy, which is the application of either heated or chilled stone to the body for the purpose of changing physiological responses. A therapist will apply warm, oiled stones in several ways during the treatment. Stones will be placed on the body, delivering heat to concentrated areas and your therapist will massage other areas of the body with more heated stones in comfortable strokes. As with all treatments, a full consultation is completed with your therapist to ensure that stone therapy is right for you. Treatment time including consultation is around 75 minutes. Treatment cost…. £50.00

Reflexology is the practice of applying pressure to and massaging certain areas of the feet. The aim is to encourage a healing effect on other areas of the body, including organs, glands and muscles, and improve general health and wellbeing. It is also sometimes referred to as ‘zone therapy’. It is based on the principle that certain areas of the feet, called reflexes, are linked to and correspond to other areas on the body. Pressure is applied to certain reflexes to heal certain areas of the body, a particular illness or condition, stress, improve overall health, and help promote the body’s own natural healing process. Reflexology helps the body’s natural energy to flow better, identifying and removing any ‘blockages’. Treatment time including consultation is around 50 minutes. Treatment cost…. £35.00

Indian Head Massage

Indian head massage is based on the ayurvedic system of healing which has been practiced in India for over a thousand years. It provides relaxation and healing. The aim of Indian head massage is to release the stress that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders. Indian head massage is especially good for relieving stress, tension, fatigue, insomnia, headaches, migraine and sinusitis. Clients report that the experience is deeply calming and relaxing, leaving them feeling energised and revitalised and better able to concentrate. Treatment time including consultation is around 50 minutes. Treatment cost…. £35.00
