Please note that due to the layout of this historic building, our rooms are all on the first or second floors and may not be suitable for those who are unable to manage stairs. We are more than willing to help with luggage, however, and meals can be brought to your room by request. Well behaved dogs are most welcome.

Our Short break rates allow you to choose a three course meal from our Dinner Menu at no extra charge. (This will have a typical value of around £25.00 per person). Guests booking under the Short Breaks option are reserving dinner as well as bed and breakfast for each night of their stay. Guests not wishing to take dinner on one or more nights revert to the bed & breakfast rate throughout. Last orders for dinner are 8.30pm. Please advise preferred time of eating. One night stays on a Saturday night are only available by special arrangement. Rates for children sharing a room with both parents: Children in a bed – £30.00 per night b&b. Children in camp bed – £20.00 per night b&b. Dinner charged as taken. [Young child’s meals are available from £6.00]

Cancellation Terms

Reserving a hotel bedroom, either verbally or in writing, constitutes a contract in law. Should you be obliged to cancel your reservation please give as much notice as possible so that we can try to re-let the room and so defray our losses. Bookings are normally confirmed by taking a credit or debit card number. Cancellation notice of over 30 days prior to arrival will not incur any cancellation charge. Cancellations less than 30 days will incur a charge of 75% of the full value of the booking unless the room can be re-let. Any cancelations must be put in writing. Where credit/debit card details have been taken to guarantee the booking the hotel may debit the card with the cancellation charges as set out above. Cancellation insurance is advised and forms are available on request. All prices are inclusive of VAT at 20.00 %.
